Samsung to release Galaxy Premier i9260

Samsung confirmed that they will soon release new galaxy smartphone series by the end of this year. From some of the rumors circulating, Samsung will release Galaxy Premier with i9260 as the numbering code. The Galaxy Premier smartphone series, Samsung Galaxy i9260 is coming for mid-end segment. It's characterized by the kind of processor that will be used in the Galaxy Premier will manifold dual core 1.5 GHz Processor.

The width of the screen used on the Galaxy Premier is about 4.7 inch, 4.65 inch to be exact. The screen resolution of this upcoming phone reach 1280 x 720 with a Super AMOLED. The Dual core processor on the Galaxy Premier supposedly coming from Texas Instruments OMAP 4470 processor. But there is also a saying that the Galaxy Premier will use the latest Exynos processor types that are produced by Samsung itself.

In the sector of the camera, the Galaxy Premier almost certainly going to use the 8 mega pixel camera with HD video recording with 1080 p capability. And the rumored of the front camera has a maximum resolution of 2 mega pixels. Some rumors about the other specifications of Galaxy Premier are 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory and a microSD slot with availability to increase the memory capacity up to 32 GB.

Samsung is currently the ruler of the smartphone segment by selling over 50 million units in the third quarter of this year, far exceeded the sales of their closest rivals Apple that only managed to sell about 20 million units. Samsung sales figures for this year is more widely contributed by their smartphone OS that adopt the Android OS.
