Microsoft Surface Tablet

Many people regretting Microsoft attitude for not releasing the 16GB Surface tablet. Whereas the consumers expect this upcoming gadget will come with a cheaper price. Now, we will know the reason behind no release of 16GB version Surface tablet.

Quoted from PhoneArena, the tablet from Microsoft that using Windows 8 RT, the Surface Tablet was released in 32 and 64GB versions only. It's because the 32GB Surface tablet only provides internal memory allocation that can be used for just 16GB.

Of course, many consumers were simply fooled by looking at the version of the internal memory. Which means the size of the internal memory shown is the memory capacity we could use to store our personal files. And even it's reduced for the OS allocation, it will not be so great as on Android tablets and the iPad.

But that was a wrong preception and is not applicable for the Surface tablet that adopted Windows 8 RT. For the Surface tablet that has 32GB internal memory, it can be said that it's not complete 32GB, due to the decimal system of 32GB was basically only 29.7GB. Why? The decimal system in Windows 8 RT is only displayed every 1GB became 0.93GB. If the result is 29.7GB for the 32GB version, then the 64GB Surface tablet real internal memory was just about 59.5GB.

Not quite up there, that 29.7GB will also reduced by the existing System Recovery in Windows 8 RT at least for 5GB. Then for the OS, Windows 8 RT and the other default applications like Office, etc. takes an internal memory of 8GB.

Thus it can be seen that the 32GB Surface tablets internal memory that can be used by the user is just 16GB. And it's impossible for Microsoft releasing the 16GB Surface if the internal memory will be washed-up following the Windows 8 RT pattern.

Once again, Microsoft states their belief about Windows Phone 8 and the smartphones that adopt it. Through Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer with optimistic,  outspoken that the Windows 8 Smartphone sales will be higher. As a layman who can't predict the success or the failure of Windows Phone 8, it's perfectly natural if we judge Microsoft is promoting and confident when talking about their own products and being flaunted.
However, when we view it objectively, a statement from Steve Ballmer was very reasonable considering Microsoft in the last 1 year was learned from their less successful smartphone sales, Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 7.5. In addition, Microsoft also continues to make innovations, improvements and continue to develop the newest version of Windows Phone called Windows Phone 8 to be different and more acceptable to consumers.

And the most important thing is how to make the ecosystem in Windows Phone 8 is better and can cover all the needs of its users, especially about the availability of applications. That way, it could be Windows Phone will be the alternatives that's worth mentioning other than android and iOS that have been the most preferred by consumer.

At last, Microsoft mobilize their financial resources to promote Windows Phone 8. As we know, Microsoft poured a lot of money to promote Windows 8, but also the Windows 8 RT tablet and of course Windows Phone 8 for the smartphone as well.

Asus will try his luck by making a tablet that adopts the latest operating system from Microsoft, Windows 8 RT. Asus Vivo Tab is a tablet that uses Windows 8 RT quad core processor in it. Asus Vivo Tab has a screen size of 10 inch LCD using IPS type screen that has a maximum pixel resolution of 1366 x 768. As for the depth of pixels on the screen Vivo Tab reached 155 dpi. Relatively low compared to the similar tablets from competitors.

This Windows 8 RT supports the processor with ARM architecture. Vivo Tab has decide to use a quad core processor from Nvidia Tegra 3. And for its RAM, its embedded with 2 GB. The camera feature is one of the reliable features of this new tablet from Asus. It's rare, a tablet manufacturers like Apple or Samsung who dare to embed an 8 mega pixel camera. And in Vivo Tab, there is a camera with a resolution of 8 mega pixels reaches a maximum and 2 mega pixel front camera.

Asus Vivo Tab's price is quite expensive just like another Windows 8 RT tablets. The price offered for Vivo Asus Tab is approximately about US $600. Not only that, Asus also offers accessories such as Vivo Tab keyboard dock worth of US $170.
